We are seeking an Executive Director to manage and oversee leadership and administrative functions of an Aveanna branch located in Virginia Beach, VA. The Executive Director collaborates with cross‑functional teams—operations, clinical, and business development—to ensure annual business growth, patient care outcomes, and financial objectives are met or exceeded. The role offers a dynamic work environment where individuals can contribute their expertise in clinical or non‑clinical capacities and embody Aveanna’s core values by building and strengthening relationships with patients, families, field staff, and referral sources. The Executive Director serves as an advocate, trusted mentor, and champion of branch‑level processes, training standards, and compliance with all federal and state regulations governing home care agencies.

Location & Schedule Virginia Beach, VA

Full‑time; Monday‑Friday

Compensation: $60,000‑$70,000 salary

Essential Job Functions

Team Management: Interview and select competent staff, conduct annual employee evaluations, oversee employee development programs and training, and meet with supervisors routinely.

Client Relations: Collaborate with branch and area leadership to introduce new patients, families, and caregivers; conduct periodic patient home visits and referral source assessments; partner with business development for growth objectives; supervise and address client satisfaction survey reports.

Business Operations: Plan and implement branch growth strategies; analyze financial statements, activity reports, and other performance data; identify cost mitigation and process improvement areas; meet reporting deadlines; monitor billing and collections.

Requirements

Associate degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.

2–3 years of management experience.

Compliance with all state requirements, including background checks and required work authorization.

Preferences

4‑Year college degree preferred.

Healthcare and/or pediatric home care experience.

Physical Demands

Speak, read, and write in English.

Travel as needed.

Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 25 pounds.

Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting.

Ability to sit, climb stairs, maintain visual and hearing acuity.

Adaptability to various environments, including exposure to allergens.
