Our Houston based client is seeking a skilled and motivated Reservoir Engineer. This role offers hands‑on involvement across reserve evaluation, project economics, capital planning, and asset optimization, while working closely with a multidisciplinary technical team.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with Geology, Land, Drilling, Completions, Production, and Marketing teams to evaluate and recommend future drilling locations
Prepare well economics, production forecasts, and reserve estimates using ARIES
Support drilling program planning, including rig scheduling and lease expiration considerations
Analyze well performance by integrating reservoir, geological, drilling, and completion data to improve returns
Partner with completions engineers to design and optimize horizontal well completions
Support acquisition and divestiture evaluations
Assist with annual budgeting and ongoing long‑range economic planning
What We’re Looking For
2–10 years of reservoir engineering experience
Strong proficiency with ARIES
Solid background in reserves, decline curve analysis, and economic evaluations
Experience with tools such as Enverus, IHS, Spotfire, Petra, and RTA
SQL, MS Access, or Python experience is a plus
Relocation assistance is not offered at this time.
