Role Overview The Director of Production is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the consistent, high-quality execution of all core mitigation and restoration services, including water, fire, mold, biohazard, emergency response, and related services. This position leads day‑to‑day production excellence by overseeing Project Managers, Crew Chiefs, and field teams to deliver strong job quality, healthy cycle times, and profitable outcomes.
Working closely with the Director of Operations, the Director of Production ensures optimal staffing levels, real‑time schedule management, KPI performance, and disciplined adherence to industry standards, documentation requirements, and compliance expectations. This role is well‑suited for a highly organized, people‑focused, and results‑driven leader who thrives in fast‑paced environments and brings deep working knowledge of restoration, mitigation, remediation practices, and applicable IICRC standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop all production staff, including technicians, crew chiefs, restoration supervisors, and project leadership
Establish clear performance expectations and production goals across the department
Ensure appropriate staffing through recruiting, training, and ongoing professional development
Serve as a primary escalation point for customers, insurance adjusters, and third‑party administrators
Partner closely with operations leadership to monitor and improve the financial performance of all projects
Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in restoration, mitigation, remediation, or related field operations
Strong working knowledge of industry standards, documentation requirements, and compliance best practices
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage schedules, and drive operational and financial performance
Experience working with insurance‑driven workflows, audits, and third‑party administrators preferred
