Senior Accountant
Location: San Francisco, CA
Responsibilities
Post journal entries, review general ledger accounts, and reconcile balance sheet accounts
Assist with consolidation, including intercompany entries
Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, oversee chart of accounts, and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
Prepare and review monthly/quarterly/yearly fluctuation analysis over income statement, balance sheet and cash flow
Research technical accounting issues and draft related footnotes disclosures
Support internal and external audits
Lead accounts payable process, including reviewing vendor contracts, managing vendor records, coding and posting invoices, securing sufficient support and approval for invoices
Act as a primary point of contact, internally and externally, to address all vendor and employee expense inquiries
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum of 4 years of experience, preferable a mix of experience in audit in public accounting and within accounting in a fast-growing company
Experience working at a publicly-traded company preferred
Proficient in Sage Intacct, Bill.com, Airbase, and Avalara
Strong technical accounting knowledge (familiarity with various ASC’s)
SaaS experience preferred
Ability to work independently and follow tasks through to completion, meeting deadlines
Strong critical thinking, organizational and time-management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
