Bank Sweep Optimization is expanding its strategic footprint and launching a next‑generation
Cash Feature Platform
that will modernize how cash and liquidity functions operate across the enterprise. To meet aggressive delivery timelines and support the build of this new platform, multiple Agile teams are being established—and we are seeking an experienced
Product Owner
to join this high‑impact initiative.
As the Product Owner for one of these teams, you will play a central role in translating business needs into actionable requirements, shaping product functionality, and ensuring timely, high‑quality delivery. You’ll partner closely with business stakeholders, technology leaders, and cross‑functional teams to define features, refine user stories, and drive alignment across the platform build. This is an exciting opportunity to influence a critical, high‑visibility capability within a complex broker/dealer ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the
Product Owner
for an Agile/Scrum team focused on delivering key components of the Cash Feature Platform.
Define, prioritize, and maintain a well‑structured product backlog that aligns with business and technical objectives.
Write clear, detailed
user stories , acceptance criteria, and feature definitions that guide development and testing.
Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand workflows, and clarify feature priorities.
Collaborate with engineering, QA, Architecture, and Program teams to ensure a shared understanding of objectives and successful execution.
Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
Track delivery progress, resolve blockers, and ensure alignment with project timelines and platform milestones.
Utilize
JIRA
and Microsoft suite tools for tracking, documentation, and communication across teams.
Ensure product functionality meets regulatory expectations and integrates effectively within the broker/dealer environment.
Promote strong collaboration and communication across all teams and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Proven Product Owner experience
within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Strong user story writing and backlog management capabilities.
Proficiency with
JIRA
and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Experience within a
broker/dealer
or financial services environment.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS degree in a relevant field.
FINRA Series 7 or Series 99
certification (preferred, but not required).
Experience supporting large‑scale platform builds or optimization initiatives.
