Director/Senior Director/Head of Growth Marketing
to architect and execute the next phase of their growth engine. This is a highly visible, high‑impact role reporting directly to the COO. You’ll own strategy and determine your execution model — whether that’s partnering with agencies or building a team in‑house. With an existing Marketing Manager to manage day one, you’ll have the autonomy and resources to build a powerhouse demand‑gen function from the ground up. Demand Generation Ownership
Build and lead a multi‑channel demand‑gen engine across email, paid media, webinars, events, retargeting, SEO, content, partnerships, and thought leadership Open the top of the funnel and nurture prospects through mid‑ and lower‑funnel journeys Create scalable programs that educate, engage, convert, and retain mid‑market customers Funnel Design & Optimization
Architect the full marketing funnel across acquisition, nurture, and retention Define TOFU/MOFU/BOFU movements, scoring, lifecycle stages, and attribution logic Deeply leverage CRM data (HubSpot) to optimize conversion rates and pipeline quality Own the creation of collateral, case studies, whitepapers, newsletters, infographics, gated content, and webinar programs Develop a consistent content engine that fuels pipeline and thought leadership Performance Tracking & Growth Acceleration
Own the KPIs that drive logo acquisition and long‑term customer value Run A/B tests, channel experiments, and competitive analyses to find new paths for growth Regularly review and refine strategies based on performance insights Channel Strategy & Budget Ownership
Own and manage the marketing budget to reach goals Allocate spend across programs, channels, and agency partners Evaluate and onboard external execution partners as needed Team & Cross‑Functional Partnerships
Manage and mentor an existing Marketing Manager Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Legal, Operations, Data, and Sustainability teams Become the connective tissue between GTM motions and business outcomes Who You Are
Must‑Have Experience
8–10+ years in B2B SaaS growth or demand generation
(agency or brand side) Experience managing a marketing budget of
at least $100K+ annually Based in
NYC A builder with perseverance — quick wins won’t happen here Strong strategic ability paired with willingness to roll up your sleeves Nice‑to‑Haves
Experience in
Series A–B startups
or acting as one of the first marketing hires Background in
CPG, Food & Beverage, sustainability, or compliance Familiarity with mid‑market sales motions Experience with HubSpot, GA4, and similar analytics tools Demonstrated growth within an organization (tenure progression, expanded scope, etc.) Player/coach mindset — you can lead the strategy AND get into the execution ICP Knowledge (Nice, Not Required)
Experience working with mid‑market consumer brands ($5M–$50M revenue) Stakeholders such as Legal, Ops, Product, Data, or Sustainability leaders Why This Role Is Unique
