Base pay range: $150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Technology Infrastructure to lead enterprise-wide IT infrastructure strategy and operations for a large, complex healthcare organization.

This executive role will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of critical technology services that support clinical, operational, and business functions across a diverse healthcare ecosystem. The role partners closely with executive leadership and IT stakeholders to align technology capabilities with organizational strategy and growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Provide executive leadership for enterprise technology infrastructure and IT operations.

Oversee core infrastructure domains including:

Network and Telecommunications

Data Center Operations

Technology Delivery and Operations

Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity

Develop and execute a long‑term infrastructure strategy and technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.

Lead operating and capital budget planning, ensuring strong financial stewardship and value delivery.

Establish enterprise technology standards, policies, and governance frameworks.

Define service level expectations and ensure consistent delivery of high‑quality IT services.

Identify opportunities to improve performance, resiliency, security, and cost‑effectiveness through modernization and process optimization.

Lead vendor strategy, contract negotiations, and ongoing vendor performance management.

Build, lead, and develop high‑performing infrastructure and operations teams.

Ensure IT operations align with IT service management (ITSM) best practices and documented standard operating procedures.

Stay current on healthcare IT trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory considerations to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (Healthcare, Business, or Information Technology).

15+ years of progressive IT experience, including 10+ years in senior leadership roles within healthcare.

Proven experience leading enterprise infrastructure operations in a large, matrixed environment.

Strong background in budget management, large‑scale initiatives, and organizational transformation.

Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strategic, results‑oriented leadership style with a strong customer‑service mindset.

Preferred Experience

Knowledge of acute care, ambulatory, and post‑acute healthcare environments.

Experience with interoperability, population health, and consumer‑focused healthcare technologies.

Familiarity with healthcare security and compliance frameworks.

Relevant professional certifications or industry affiliations (e.g., IT service management or healthcare IT leadership organizations).
