Oracle Generative AI Agent Service is an exciting team in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. We are delivering innovative services at the intersection of artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure. In the Generative AI Agent team, you will build and operate cloud services maximizing state‑of‑the‑art generative AI agent technologies. You will be part of a team of experienced, hands‑on engineers with the expertise and passion to solve difficult problems in distributed highly available services and virtualized infrastructure. As a senior principal developer, you will lead the effort of building distributed, scalable, high‑performance generative AI agent service in partnership with our applied scientists and software engineers. You will investigate model structure to optimize model performance and scalability, building state‑of‑the‑art systems with innovative technologies in this fast‑evolving area.

Responsibilities

Modify and enhance existing software systems to meet evolving requirements.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including product management and applied science, to deliver high‑quality software solutions.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Continuously evaluate and improve development processes, tools, and technologies.

Qualifications Certain US customer or client‑facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non‑overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
