Digital Platform Architect
Our client is looking for a Digital Platform Architect to join the Data and Platform Architecture team. Our client is in the early stages of a massive customer transformation project and moving 2 of their major commerce platforms to transactional commerce sites. They need a resource who can hit the ground running both technically and from a leadership perspective. The role will involve approximately 70% hands‑on technical work and 30% leadership responsibilities, with a focus on strategically scaling large initiatives organizationwide.
Base pay range $170,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr
Required Skills
7+ years of platform architecture and/or senior level development experience.
Digital commerce platform integration, implementation, and deployment experience – B2B digital commerce preferred.
At least 1 year of leadership experience.
Strong understanding of MACH architecture (Microservices, API‑first, Cloud‑native, and Headless).
End‑to‑end data architecture experience: ingestion – processing and transformation (ETL) – storage – analysis – delivery.
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines.
Data processing frameworks – Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, etc.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Terraform, etc.
Experience driving AI and data architecture initiatives.
Solution oriented and ability to communicate effectively across the organization at all levels.
BA in related field.
Plusses
Any relevant certifications in data architecture, data engineering, or cloud platforms.
Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance standards.
Experience implementing data security measures.
