Cliff Drysdale Tennis, a leader in tennis and fitness facilities across the United States, is seeking a Director of Tennis to lead the overall operation of a Southampton facility. This full‑time position offers comprehensive company benefits. Responsibilities

Provide beginning through advanced instruction (private and group) for all levels of players. Assist in the promotion and conduct of tennis clinics, private lessons, special events, and programs to attract and maintain members’ and guests’ tennis interests. Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive tennis lessons and programs to ensure students develop along a pathway that encourages continued involvement in tennis. Assist in supervising play and ensure proper charging of fees. Ensure students understand tennis rules, scoring procedures, safety rules, and tennis etiquette. Enforce all club rules and regulations governing the use of the club/facility, its equipment, and other property. Perform racquet stringing and court maintenance. Run tennis tournaments and organize, monitor, and run team leagues and practices for both men’s and women’s USTA & WTTA. Quickly and efficiently respond to member/guest questions, comments, and concerns. Incorporate safe work practices in job performance and demonstrate a positive attitude through courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism. Promote equipment brands sold in the pro shop by the company and wear a company‑branded uniform. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications

Minimum 1-year experience required. High School diploma or GED. Experience teaching tennis lessons to adults and juniors of various levels. Physical Demands

Frequently stands, walks, uses hands, talks, hears, reaches with hands and arms, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. Occasionally sits. Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds. Environment and Noise

Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate. Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences

Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g., the staff may be required to communicate with English‑speaking customers or co‑workers). Skill level equivalent to a minimum 4.0 USTA rating. Basic computer and email skills. Excellent customer service skills, friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude. Ability to build positive relationships with members and team members. Excellent communication skills. Ability to multi‑task and learn quickly. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
