Coordinate schedules, follow up on assignments, and train new engineering personnel. Assist in the selection, qualification, and development of all engineering and maintenance personnel. Support Co-Op program including candidate review, interviewing, and scheduling. Design and implement production-related equipment in a professional environment. Collaborate with Maintenance, Facility, and Engineering departments to provide input and direction for production operations. Participate in the design and acquisition of new machines and equipment. Provide unbiased performance evaluations for engineering personnel. Maintain documentation to establish trends, monitor cost effectiveness, and track labor force and scheduling. Engage in SBD Organizational Excellence initiatives. Provide cost estimates and oversee turnkey operation of projects. Evaluate existing equipment and recommend productivity improvements. Identify and complete lean manufacturing projects (e.g., 3P planning). Maintain safety, quality, and production standards per ISO and company procedures. Recommend computer interface needs for both new and existing equipment. Lead capital projects to meet time and budgetary requirements. Travel to other facilities for learning, training, and continuous improvement as needed. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. 5+ years of leadership experience. Knowledge of NFPA 70E- lockout/tagout and ability to coach teams on safety procedures. Experience in managing engineering activities. Strong background in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, robotics, and mechanical systems. Leadership in equipment/system troubleshooting and repair. Proven project development and management through successful completion. High organizational and time‑management skills. Working knowledge of CAD, mechanical drawings, blueprint reading, and advanced arithmetic. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to inspire and motivate others.
