Insurance & Bad Faith Litigation Attorney – Seattle, WA
A growing and dynamic litigation practice is seeking an Insurance and Bad Faith Litigation Attorney with at least four years of litigation experience to join their Seattle office. This role involves handling insurance coverage disputes and bad faith claims across Washington and other jurisdictions, with opportunities to provide strategic guidance to clients. The position offers flexible remote work options within Washington.
Base pay range $140,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Litigate insurance and bad faith actions from inception through trial
Handle all aspects of coverage disputes, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, and alternative dispute resolution
Prepare pleadings, briefs, and other litigation documents
Provide legal research, analysis, and strategic advice to clients
Collaborate on case strategy and offer liability assessments for client matters
Participate in both state and federal court proceedings
Qualifications
Juris Doctorate (JD) with strong academic credentials
Minimum of four years of litigation experience, including insurance coverage and bad faith matters
Experience handling breach of contract, bad faith, and insurance litigation from start to finish
Strong skills in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy
Washington Bar admission in good standing (required); California Bar a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and professionally
Salary range: $140,000–$175,000, depending on experience
