Corporate Counsel – DP World
Join DP World as a Corporate Counsel. We are a leading global provider of smart, end‑to‑end supply chain and logistics solutions, supporting trade worldwide through maritime, inland terminals and technology‑driven services. Key Accountabilities
Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer contracts, procurement agreements, supply chain arrangements, and service contracts. Support business development initiatives by preparing NDAs, LOIs, joint venture agreements and strategic partnership documents. Provide legal guidance on corporate governance, compliance and risk management related to transactions. Maintain comprehensive corporate recordkeeping and entity management database for US and Latin America operations. Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Finance, Operations and Business Development to structure and close deals that align with business goals. Manage contract templates and playbooks to improve efficiency and consistency across the organization. Translate and review legal documents in both English and Spanish, ensuring accuracy in multilingual negotiations. Support due diligence and contract analysis for M&A and joint venture activities. Advise on international business transactions, cross‑border agreements and compliance with applicable laws. Work with external counsel on complex or specialized matters. Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active license and good standing in at least one U.S. state bar. 3–5 years of experience in corporate law, preferably with a mix of firm and in‑house experience. Proven experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, NDAs, LOIs, JV agreements, and procurement contracts. Demonstrated ability to support business development and commercial transactions in a corporate environment. Experience with entity management systems, preferably GEMS software. Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken). High ethical standards and professional integrity. Experience in the logistics, port or terminal industry and international, cross‑border contracts is preferred. Application Note
