Manufacturing Resources Bring your experience and ideas to help us identify and evaluate the ever‑changing demand/supply environment to proactively ensure a balanced production plan by resolving issues driving imbalances to ensure on‑time delivery of parts to the Build Teams.

NOTE: Located in Amarillo, TX. Bell/Textron Relocation Assistance is NOT available for this role.

What you’ll be doing as a Manufacturing Resource Analyst

Provide long‑range 30+ day lookahead to the Business unit to identify shortage issues and facilitate workaround planning.

Responsible for identifying potential out‑of‑balance conditions between demand and supply over the planning horizon. This includes identifying critical long pole shortages, capacity constraints, and/or schedule imbalances resulting in an unrealistic flow rate.

Responsible for coordinating actions necessary to align supply to demand. This could result in coordinating actions with Procurement, Manufacturing, Operations Management, etc., including the realignment of demand through direct facilitation with the demand owners.

Direct Shop Floor Control activity through scheduling and planning tools. This includes, but is not limited to, COE, program, production, test, and maintenance schedules.

Supplies directional input to the Materials Manager based on informational analysis and direct interface with operational management.

Coordinate any major activity relating to the factory floor that may affect the scheduling of jobs or available net capacity of critical constraints (i.e., machines down, manpower adjustments, missing machine group codes, etc.) and adjust scheduling and planning tools accordingly (working with the Sr Systems Analyst as required).

Accountable for managing the shop loads and developing plans for balancing critical resources while working with manufacturing management in their efforts to produce the end product and obtain the most effective utilization of equipment in a cost‑effective manner.

Skills You Bring to This Role

Working knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Demand Flow, Capacity Planning, and JIT manufacturing systems

MRP, Kinaxis, QlikView, SAP, MS Office, and SAS skills

Customer service focus and a bias for results‑oriented action

What you need to be successful

Bachelors degree in Operations / Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline preferred

At least 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Production or Supply Chain Management Operations
