Job Description Develop, execute and manage IT projects within the defined scope. Expedite, manage and coordinate a multitude of interrelated IT project activities within the constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures – Quality Management.
Initiate and plan IT projects: Work with business and IT management to establish and gain consensus on project goals, objectives and deliverables.
Project Control: Assess the impact of changes to scope, issues and risks on projects; work with division and cross‑divisional management and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution; measure performance to assure the project is progressing as compared to the original plan and budget.
Executing and Closing Projects: Develop and execute a work plan, obtaining authorized resources to ensure all activities are performed; gather lessons learned and obtain final project approval from sponsor and stakeholders.
Project Communication: Communicate project progress by producing project reports that provide timely and accurate project status and decision‑support information to the Project Team, Division, Cross‑Division and Executive management; make recommendations based on current project status to resolve issues.
Resource and Team Management: Coordinate resources to ensure project needs are addressed; effectively assign tasks and deliverables to team members based on their abilities; supervise, motivate and mentor a cross‑functional/cross‑divisional project team of project managers, business analysts, developers and validation analysts.
Quality Management: Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and functional policies and procedures.
Decisions: Make decisions that impact project‑level activities; influence or have final decision authority for project budget.
Financial Control: Develop and manage a large financial plan with multi‑million‑dollar spend over multiple years; track actual spend, accruals; proactively create spend estimates on a regular basis (at least monthly) and coordinate estimates and invoices with project vendors to maintain spend at +/- 10% of the overall project budget.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years experience OR Master’s Degree with 7 years experience OR Ph.D. with 3 years experience.
At least 8 years of proven experience driving projects through various phases of a system development lifecycle (SDLC), using Waterfall and Agile Methodologies as appropriate.
At least 5 years of experience managing significant IT projects in a Pharma environment.
Must have managed project budgets in excess of $1MM.
Must have demonstrable Executive Presence.
Proven Microsoft Office skills required.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
This job is eligible to participate in our short‑term incentive programs.
