in Austin, Texas. This mid to senior level role is part of the Advanced Computing Lab (ACL) building high‑performance GPU IP for mobile markets.

Role and Responsibilities

Drive RTL design of sub‑blocks for a mobile GPU, delivering micro‑architectural documentation and meeting PPA goals.

Collaborate with GPU architects and SoC design teams to refine architectural definition and resolve implementation details.

Partner with physical design and verification teams to ensure proper functionality and schedule alignment.

Work closely with international engineering teams, including partners in Korea, to define requirements and implementation details.

Skills and Qualifications

10+ years of experience designing RTL for GPU/CPU high‑performance digital designs (8+ years with a Master’s, 6+ years with a PhD).

Demonstrated expertise in architectural design through to RTL implementation on high‑performance digital IP.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Background in computer graphics and computer architecture is highly preferred.

Experience in low‑power design is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits Base pay range: $151,000 – $251,800. Eligible for an exempt FLSA position with a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), tuition assistance, paid time off, and additional long‑term incentive and relocation options.
