to join our Kensico‑Eastview Connection Tunnel Project in
White Plains, New York .

Frontier‑Kemper Constructors is the general contractor for the Kensico‑Eastview Connection Tunnel Project. The scope of the approximately $1.1 billion contract entails the construction of a new deep rock tunnel between the Kensico Reservoir and the Catskill/Delaware Ultraviolet (CDUV) Light Disinfection Facility, both in Westchester County, New York. The new tunnel will provide an additional means of conveying water between the Kensico Reservoir and the CDUV Facility, enhancing operational resiliency and redundancy for New York City’s water supply system.

Responsibilities
Review project plans and develop a construction schedule in coordination with project-wide activities.
Coordinate with subcontractors on advance material acquisitions and pre‑construction deliverables.
Develop and assist with obtaining quotes and draft contracts to meet project requirements.
Prepare construction work plan packages and coordinate pre‑construction meetings while ensuring that all prerequisites to start construction activities are identified and completed.
Prepare, update, and distribute work activity schedules/updates, and communicate across discipline groups and agencies to ensure proper advance notifications and coordination of start times.
Monitor and participate daily in field construction process. Provide layout checks and technical reviews of work against requirements. Obtain confirmations from design engineer as needed.
Assist with subcontract administration and permanent material suppliers through monitoring of correspondence, submittals, RFIs, and performance records; maintain accurate payment records.
Assist in preparing monthly reporting for progress payments, schedule updates, and problem/issue tracking and resolution. Provide accurate and factual assessments of project performance.
Participate in change orders and claims management.
Identify and resolve changing site conditions or other impacts during planning of the work.
Develop quality checks and coordinate permits from appropriate entities.
Manage and submit project close‑out in coordination with the client and third parties.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or similar, from an accredited institution.
Heavy Civil construction experience preferred.
Experience with AutoCAD.
Knowledge of construction safety and current federal & OSHA requirements.
Project controls techniques (i.e., cost accounting, basic estimating, forecasting, and contracts).
A strong working knowledge of the critical path method and resource scheduling.
Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and Primavera P6.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
Strong work ethic – highly motivated and willing to do what it takes to get the job done right.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
