Provide hands‑on technical assurance for complex Databricks deployments, ensuring performance, governance, and security across highly regulated industries
Lead client engagements from presales to delivery, shaping solutions that maximise business value whilst managing risk
Act as a strategic partner—co‑leading our relationship with Databricks, supporting joint initiatives, and co‑developing reusable IP to accelerate adoption
Mentor and upskill internal teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in data engineering and AI solutions
Additional Responsibilities
Own and evolve Kubrick’s Databricks strategy in the US, ensuring alignment with client needs and partner collaboration
Shape presales and solution design activities, including architecture, proofs of concept, and proposals
Oversee solution assurance and provide escalation support on critical deployments
Collaborate across practices to deliver AI, advanced analytics, and platform solutions powered by Databricks
Develop and scale accelerators, frameworks, and reusable assets to drive consistent client impact
Govern delivery outcomes, tracking progress, protecting margins, and maintaining quality
Qualifications
Proven experience designing, leading, and assuring Databricks implementations in production (cloud, hybrid, on‑premises)
Strong track record in cloud‑native deployments
Ability to lead teams, resolve challenges, and communicate confidently with stakeholders from engineers to senior executives
Commercial acumen—supporting presales, shaping solutions, managing risk, and articulating Databricks’ business value
Commitment to mentoring and building internal capability around Databricks
Deep knowledge of the software engineering lifecycle and modern data engineering practices
Experience in consulting or enterprise environments, working across multidisciplinary teams
Experience with AI/ML solutions leveraging Databricks
Understanding of multi‑platform ecosystems where Databricks is one element of a wider technology landscape
Compensation and Benefits A competitive salary & bonus. Option to purchase additional voluntary benefits. Access to upskilling opportunities and clear progression path. We offer a hybrid working environment 2‑3 days a week/client meetings and home working.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) At Kubrick, we not only strive to bridge the skills‑gap in data and technology, but we are also committed to playing a key role in improving diversity in the industry. To that effect, we welcome candidates from all backgrounds, and particularly encourage applications from groups currently underrepresented in the industry, including women, people from black and ethnic minority backgrounds, LGBTQ+ people, people with disability, and those who are neurodivergent.
We know that potential applicants are sometimes put off if they don’t meet 100% of the requirements. We think individual experience, skills and passion make all the difference, so if you meet a good proportion of the criteria, we’d love to hear from you.
We are committed to ensuring that all candidates have an equally positive experience, and equal chances for success regardless of any personal characteristics. Please speak to us if we can support you with any adjustments to our recruitment process.
