Role Overview The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving store performance. This role includes coaching team members, maintaining visual and operational standards, and implementing strategies to achieve sales and productivity goals.

Responsibilities

Will report directly to the Store Manager and lead a dynamic team of Shift Leads and Sales Associates.

Consistently embody and promote the mission and core values of Miniso.

Support store operations: deliver exceptional customer service, maintain merchandising standards, adhere to procedures, and drive sales performance.

Drive customer engagement with the membership program, actively promote sign-ups and build loyalty to increase retention and sales performance.

Mentor trainee associates, achieve sales targets, and drive business growth.

Manage inventory levels, process shipments, handle damages and returns and manage supplies.

Assist in recruitment, training, staffing and retention.

Support all administrative tasks: staff scheduling, inventory management, and compliance with Miniso handbook guidelines.

Ensure visual merchandising standards and communicate insights to the Store Manager.

Deliver constructive feedback promoting recognition, accountability and continuous improvement.

Work with Loss Prevention to address internal and external shrink in alignment with policies.

Achieve sales targets by training, motivating, mentoring, and offering constructive feedback.

Manage cash-handling tasks, ensure strict SOP adherence, and create a clean, safe environment.

Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in retail management with a strong track record of leading teams.

Strong leadership, organizational, and customer management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in Business Administration, Organizational Behavior, Hospitality or related degrees preferred.

Ability to relocate or manage additional stores based on business needs.

Ability to travel between locations is required.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

USD $17.00 - $24.50 /Hr.
