The
Senior Accountant
plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the month‑end close process, financial reporting, and audit processes within the organization. This position requires a solid understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Job Location:
Denver, CO. Address: 1720 S. Bellaire Street, Skybox Suite, Denver, CO 80222. Candidates should be comfortable working on‑site 4 days per week.
Compensation:
Department: Finance
Base Salary Range: $85,000 to $100,000 annually
Bonus: 10% annual incentive target
Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries, monthly accruals, and account reconciliations.
Assist with month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Analyze financial data and variances, providing insights to management.
Work alongside the accounting team to ensure processes and controls are executed timely and accurately.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including intercompany transactions.
Partner with FP&A and other departments to support budget and forecast processes with accurate historical data.
Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements to increase efficiency.
Assist with audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests.
Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other departments to resolve discrepancies.
Perform other duties as necessary.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite experience a plus) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experience in a multi‑location food and beverage or retail organization.
Experience implementing process improvements and system integrations.
Familiarity with inventory accounting and cost of goods sold (COGS).
Education – Training – Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; CPA or progress toward certification preferred.
3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi‑entity or food and beverage environment.
