Position Summary The Senior Estimator plays a key role in our Pre-Construction team by delivering accurate, strategic, and competitive estimates that set our projects up for success. You will lead the estimating process from concept through proposal, partnering closely with project stakeholders, engineers, and executive leadership. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep mechanical construction knowledge, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with internal teams and industry partners. What You’ll Bring
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction methods, and project sequencing
Ability to develop accurate conceptual, budgetary, and detailed estimates
Strong relationship-building skills with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
Ability to multitask and manage multiple estimates with competing deadlines
High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment
Qualifications
7+ years of experience estimating mechanical construction projects
Proficiency with estimating software and digital takeoff tools
Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and contract documents
Experience estimating HVAC, plumbing, piping, and/or mechanical systems
Familiarity with pre-construction workflows, proposal development, and value engineering
Ability to lead estimate reviews and present findings to leadership
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred
