Job Summary Langan is seeking a
Senior Site/Civil Engineer
to join its collaborative team in
Celina, TX . This individual will play a key role in the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects. The role offers experience in site/civil engineering design for mixed‑use developments, shopping centers, residential, higher education, federal, and other exciting land development projects within a continuous learning environment.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare and modify various engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related equipment.
Use reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, and aerial photographs to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographical data, evaluating their impact on project planning and design.
Demonstrate familiarity with current local, state, and federal land‑use permitting requirements.
Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
Perform other job duties as requested.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
EIT certification (PE certification preferred).
4+ years of relevant professional experience in site/civil design, including site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, and soil erosion control.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work in a collaborative team environment.
