Job Description In accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards, is responsible for the activities related to assigned projects.

What You Will Do

Serves as a member of technical project teams. Responsible for carrying out assigned duties to complete projects on schedule and within budget.

Ensures the delivery of high-quality service and maintenance of good relations with customers and coworkers.

Stays actively informed concerning technical, business, and management developments affecting ABS and its customers, and communicates this information promptly to management.

Actively promotes the services and capabilities of ABS throughout the technical and business community.

Writes and presents technical papers and reports concerning areas of expertise and work performed.

Provides day‑to‑day advice on areas of technical expertise to Technology and Engineering staffs.

Responsible for the development of suggested Rule changes and/or Rule development projects as assigned. Provides advice as necessary in matters related to the application of Rules and Regulations.

Ensures that all ABS Quality System requirements with regard to technical work within assigned areas of responsibility are fulfilled.

Performs selected engineering reviews and analysis.

What You Will Need: Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree required.

One to two years of prior work experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Able to communicate orally and in writing in the English language.

Human relations skills are necessary to maintain positive relationships with clients and peers.

Ability to develop and implement logical solutions to complex problems.

Ability to undertake short‑ and long‑term planning to provide for efficient and effective scheduling of work assignments.

Needs to be familiar with the ABS Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental Management System.

Reporting Relationships

Reports, as assigned, to a Manager, Staff Consultant, Principal, Senior Engineer, or project leader.

Collaborates with other appropriate organizational elements on assigned tasks and other matters of mutual concern.
