Job Summary: KBR is seeking to hire a Logistics and Readiness Admin Support - Sr. Specialist to support a wide array of tasks from office management and light database support leveraging maintenance administration expertise. The position is within OPNAV Air Warfare Division, Logistics and Readiness Branch, N980L, supporting multiple branches and office facilities located in the Pentagon, for a workforce of 25 personnel.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide Operational Support
Assist in the management of office communication: telephone, sort and distribute mail, maintain appointment calendars, coordinate appointments in N98 conference rooms, facilitate VTC and audio bridge reservations, perform visitor control functions
Facilitate correspondence (letters, directives, memoranda, newsletters, etc.) by preparing draft templates, editing for spelling, grammar, and format, and preparing graphical presentations and spreadsheets
Provide multimedia and audiovisual support for N98 meetings and conferences, oversee and support VTC set‑up, verify equipment operation for the N98 conference rooms
Provide draft correspondence, naval messages, assistance with faxing, copying, collating of issue papers, point papers, instructions, speeches, articles, presentations, and briefings
Prepare templates, submit, track, and retrieve travel orders and travel vouchers for the Government; coordinate transportation and lodging reservations
Process electronic mail and naval messages, provide business operations support and security expertise during meetings, integrate and distribute agendas, draft, administer, and distribute minutes, copy and distribute documentation, develop and maintain files, participate in preparation of personnel listings, track inventory of required office supplies and equipment, archive and store historical documentation
Provide Security Coordination
Maintain and analyze established office security planning to safeguard classified and sensitive materials
Receive, log, and track classified documents up to the SECRET level, prepare classified documents for disposal
Comply with Government regulations regarding classified material and act as subject matter expert on applicable instructions and directives
Prepare, screen, and receive collateral visit requests through JPAS
Provide Integrated Logistics Support
Assist and provide policy, guidance, and oversight of the Fixed Induction Date (FID) and Integrated Maintenance Review Board (IMRB) processes in coordination with OPNAV Resource Sponsor, Program Offices, Fleet Support Teams, NAVAIR Competencies, and Type Commanders
Receive, review, and process FID adjustment requests and IMRB packages, prepare and submit FID request responses to TYCOMs via naval message
Assist Aircraft Inventory Manager in preparation, update, and completion of aircraft inventory reports and budget documents deliverables, extract data from DECKPLATE, AIRRS, and PBIS databases
Prepare responses to FOIA requests for review and release by government personnel
Basic Qualifications
U.S. Citizen with an active SECRET security clearance or one held within the past two years
High school diploma and minimum 5 years' experience participating in business services and OPNAV internal business operations
Proficient knowledge of OPNAV security regulations
Expert knowledge of OPNAV and Secretariat business functions, operations, facilities management, physical security, Defense Travel System (DTS), training, and office automation/communications requirements support
Demonstrated expertise with software and systems: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Naval Defense – Naval Message System, Automated Message Handling System (AMHS), Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), Aeronautical Technical Publications Library (ATPL), Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS), DoN Tasking, Records and Consolidated Knowledge Enterprise Repository (TRACKER)
Preferred Qualifications
BS/BA degree desired, but not required
Strong foundation in Integrated Logistics Support with expertise in supply chain management, maintenance, repair, and basic understanding of business operations, security regulations, and software systems
Work Location Must be willing to work onsite at the Pentagon.
Compensation $114,940 – $130,795. Salary range posted is for Washington, DC locations. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and internal parity.
