About The Role At Boston Scientific, the Program Management leader for Maple Grove Operations will drive the site’s new product introduction strategy and strategic portfolio planning process—setting direction and owning end-to-end program delivery from planning and resource allocation through risk management and achievement of defined business outcomes. Success in this role hinges on exceptional influencing skills to align priorities, secure resources, and gain commitment across a complex business and matrix of stakeholders. This leader will develop and inspire a high performing team, while forming strong partnerships within the MG operations org, with divisional stakeholders and other BSC manufacturing sites and functions. In partnership with the senior leadership team, the director owns technical direction and business process improvement, ensuring disciplined strategic process execution. Serving as the Maple Grove Operations voice within the broader Ops Strategy and North America regional PMO, this role will shape and advance site‑specific strategies that connect seamlessly to globally and regional priorities.
Your Responsibilities Include
Shapes and drives site-level business strategy, including new business and business exits, pipeline projects, and regional/global initiatives, in partnership with senior site leadership team and cross-functional collaboration.
Provides strategic oversight of the Maple Grove new product & site project portfolio, that is in sync with global, regional and site priorities. Ensure prioritization, resource alignment, collaboration, and visibility for enterprise stakeholders.
Owns the Delivering Excellence strategic framework and process for the site, embedding continuous improvement and operational excellence into short and long-term plans.
Leads the project management organization, fostering an inclusive and high performing culture. Actively engages and develops employees, drives continuous improvement for scalability, utilizing best practices, and deliver exceptional results to advance the business. Critical partner to the North America regional PMO.
Leads the site Steering Committee, setting direction and ensuring governance for key initiatives and organizational priorities.
Cultivates high-impact partnerships to advance organizational objectives; serves as a trusted advisor and communicates with clarity and influence to senior leadership across manufacturing, GSC functions, and divisional teams.
Serves as the lead for executive site visits, ensuring a seamless experience that reinforces strategic objectives, reflects organizational excellence, and strengthens stakeholder confidence.
What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
12+ years of progressive experience in Manufacturing and/or Project Management, with demonstrated ability to be a program leader for large-scale business critical initiatives
10+ years of experience in a people leadership position
Significant experience leading people and organizations, with a proven ability in building and sustaining high-performing inclusive teams to drive organizational success.
Proven record of accomplishment in planning and executing complex medical device projects, ensuring compliance, quality, and timely execution
Comprehensive experience with all phases of product development inclusive of TDP, PDP, and product launch support
Expertise in managing global networks and multi-divisional initiatives, driving alignment and collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders at all levels
Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans
Strong strategic thought leadership, influencing decisions and shaping organizational direction at senior levels
Preferred Qualifications
Master of Science Degree or MBA
PMP or PgMP Certification
Experience leading project managers
Experience with product costing
Proven ability to influence without authority
Experience in PLCP and Process Excellence milestones
Familiarity with Global Supply Chain strategic planning processes (e.g., Delivering Excellence)
Familiarity with Supply Chain End to End Design (SEED) process
Salary and Benefits Minimum Salary: $150,500
Maximum Salary: $286,000
