About Envoy AI The $3T+ logistics industry runs on people making calls, chasing updates, and jumping between a dozen tools. We’re building AI that does the

actual work

end to end – making carrier calls, booking loads, verifying credentials, sending check‑ins, and chasing documents. We are live with freight brokers and 3PLs moving real shipments today. The technical challenge is massive: orchestrating thousands of concurrent voice conversations, executing complex workflows in real time, and integrating with systems built decades before APIs existed.

The Role We are looking for a

Founding Product Manager

to define how AI agents interact with the real world of logistics.

This is not a traditional PM role where you optimize funnels or manage ticket backlogs. You will be building "Systems of Agency" — software that doesn’t just record data but takes action on behalf of humans. You will work directly with our CEO, CTO and founding engineers to shape the behavior of our AI agents and scale our platform to support top freight brokerages and carriers in the US.

You will be the bridge between the messy, human‑centric reality of freight (negotiations, check‑calls, delays) and the deterministic logic of our AI. If you are a builder who thrives in ambiguity and wants to define a new category of software, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

Own the Agent "Brain":

Define the personality, logic, and decision‑making frameworks of our AI agents. How should Ellie, our voice agent, handle a rude driver? How does she negotiate a rate? You will script the future of automated logistics.

Product Visionary:

You aren’t inheriting a roadmap; you’re building it. You will prioritize features based on deep customer discovery and business impact (e.g., "increasing automation rates from 20% to 90%" vs. "shipping a new button").

Ground‑Truth Discovery:

You won’t build from an ivory tower. You will embed with freight brokers, listen to thousands of calls, and understand the nuances of the supply chain to build product experiences that solve real pain points.

Orchestrate Complexity:

Work closely with engineering to translate complex operational workflows into scalable AI logic. You need to understand the technical constraints of LLMs and voice AI (latency, hallucinations) and build product guardrails around them.

Drive Business Outcomes:

Success will be purely measured in results. You will define and own metrics like "percentage of calls fully automated," "revenue per agent," and "customer trust."

What We're Looking For

4+ years of Product Management experience , ideally in a high‑growth startup or 0→1 environment.

Domain experience:

background in logistics, supply chain and adjacent industries is an ABSOLUTE MUST. You know what a "check‑call" is, why it’s painful, and how the freight market actually moves.

High Agency & Ownership:

You act like a founder. You are comfortable making high‑stakes decisions with incomplete information and owning the outcome. Nothing is "not your job."

AI/LLM Native:

You don’t just "manage" AI products; you use AI tools daily. You have an intuition for what LLMs can and cannot do, and you’re excited to push the boundaries of agentic workflows.

Operational Empathy:

You are willing to get your hands dirty. You love diving into complex systems and untangling messy human workflows.

Technical Fluency:

You can hold your own in technical conversations with senior engineers about APIs, latency, and data models.

Bonus Points

Technical Background:

You have written code, have a CS degree, or have built side projects using LLM APIs.

Voice AI Experience:

You have worked with telephony, speech‑to‑text, or conversation design.

Why Join Envoy AI

Define a New Category:

We’re not just making software better; we are replacing manual labor with intelligence. You will help define what "AI Agents" look like in the enterprise.

Massive Impact:

You will work directly with the founders and shape the product culture from the ground up.

Hard Problems:

You will solve challenges at the intersection of real‑time voice AI, distributed systems, and human psychology.

Significant Equity:

As a key early hire, you will have a meaningful stake in our success.
