Employment Type
“Casual Employee” (per diem, hourly clinician role)
Anticipated average of 8–20 patient care hours per week, with actual hours varying according to office needs
Location
Seeing patients across multiple offices in Washington, DC.
In Maryland, Virginia, and DC
Weekly schedule will include hours at several clinics in Washington, DC
Candidates must be willing to work at any of these locations as needed
What You’ll Be Working On
Seeing patients with a broad array of needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits (not a panel‑building role)
Treating patients in‑office and conducting occasional tele‑health visits
Collaborating with in‑office teammates via daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
Utilizing your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in‑office procedures
Education, Licenses, and Experience Required
At least 2 years of primary care experience
Current license or ability to obtain licensure in Maryland, Virginia, and/or Washington, DC
Ability to build successful relationships with team members and communicate effectively 1‑on‑1 and in groups
Thrives in a fast‑growing, mission‑driven organization focused on using data to improve patient outcomes
Completed an accredited FNP or PA program with a national certification

A passion for human‑centered primary care
Effective communication with and care for individuals of all backgrounds
Proficiency in using technology to deliver high quality care
Clinical proficiency in evidence‑based primary care
Desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery
Openness to feedback and reflection to gain insight into strengths and weaknesses
Confidence navigating uncertain situations with patients and colleagues
Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet the needs of patients

This is an hourly role with openings across the Washington, DC area.
One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly rate for this role is $77.00 per hour. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. Additional pay may be determined for candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. The total compensation package for this position may also include benefits.
