Director- Business Process Billing located
in
Atlanta, GA.
Responsible for working collaboratively with our field teams, customers and other shared services departments to ensure the services delivered are aligned with business needs, while planning, organizing, and managing both resources and processes in order to achieve operating efficiency and revenue growth.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Directs the revenue efforts of the Operating Unit (U.S. Elevator) to ensure adherence to company protocols and ensure billing goals are exceeded. Includes promoting timely invoicing and contract reviews for efficiency and accuracy.
Strategically reviews Billing and Contract reports and key metrics with an emphasis on trend analysis to uncover strengths and weaknesses of team’s efforts within the regions and branches. Includes facilitating continuous improvement of processes and protocols and engaging regional and branch management to drive solutions.
Monitors the performance success of managers, supervisors and billing coordinators by overseeing the performance management process, holding employees accountable for meeting their goals, and rewarding and disciplining employees as necessary.
Works with region and branch management to ensure that all administrative and accounting functions are being performed in an efficient and cost-effective manner, supporting backlogs and revenue forecasts.
Continually reviews organizational structure of department to affect greater efficiencies and effectiveness.
Work collaboratively across departments (Collections, Sales, Operations, Finance, Quality, and IT) to continuously improve billing and reporting processes for efficiency, scalability and customer experience.
Oversees the hiring process. Includes interviewing candidates for supervisory positions and providing input to managers pertaining to their hiring of billing coordinators, as appropriate.
Provides mentorship and training to managers and supervisors.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and seven or more years’ experience in billing/revenue management.
Elevator industry or service related field experience
Experience working with large integrated teams (e.g. shared services), and managing high-level client stakeholders
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
