This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location: North Carolina.
Overview This position is within DEPOSITS & SHARED SVCS DEPT and related to API development, the design, implementation, and support of our TIBCO Enterprise Service Bus. The role requires creating conceptual end‑to‑end integration deliverables, technical specification documents, and recommending high‑quality solutions for the TIBCO BW ESB integration platform. Responsibilities include analyzing, coding, testing, and implementing in coordination with management, associates, and end users while following the Enterprise SDLC. The candidate may oversee the work of less experienced analysts or assist in special projects.
Responsibilities
Implementation of integration services using TIBCO BW (6/10x) and TIBCO EMS.
Implementation knowledge of API Gateway technologies such as Layer 7 or Apigee.
Basic knowledge of Splunk.
Gap analysis of new requirements, documenting solution options, impact analysis, effort estimates, Issue/Bug investigation & resolution; support project team and application business analysts.
Functional mappings from specifications and/or business requirements; translate source/target schemas into transformation logic aligned with logistics processes and data standards.
Assist operations team to resolve production escalations as needed.
System testing: develop and oversee a comprehensive testing plan, investigate, analyze, and determine user needs, verify successful implementation of software, patches, and upgrades.
System enhancement: utilize end‑user feedback to develop improvements, determine solutions for known issues and business needs, coordinate with interface applications and other business units to verify request definitions, and make appropriate system configuration or parameter changes.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in software application development and maintenance, OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in software application development and maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications
TIBCO BW (6/10x)
API Gateway (e.g., Layer 7 / Apigee)
TIBCO EMS
Integration technologies: XML/XSD, JSON, REST/SOAP; messaging (JMS/EMS)
SDLC & Ops: Git, CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Antifactory repositories), environment configuration, packaging/deployment, logging/monitoring, troubleshooting.
Nice to have: Knowledge of Logging & Exception handling tools (e.g., njams)
Security patterns: MTLS, OAuth 2.0
Experience in the Banking and Finance Industry
Experience with Okta, SQL scripting
Experience with ServiceNow or other IT ticketing systems
Ability to build strong collaborative and productive relationships
In‑depth knowledge of System Life Cycle Development methodology (Waterfall and Agile)
