Role Description This full‑time, on‑site role is based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. The Mammography Technologist will perform a variety of imaging procedures, including 2D/3D mammography, and ensure patient safety and comfort during exams.
Responsibilities
Operate imaging equipment and perform mammography examinations.
Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and best practices.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high‑quality diagnostic services.
Support patients throughout their breast health journey.
Qualifications
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and current understanding of radiologic technology standards.
Proficiency in radiation safety and handling radiologic equipment.
Comprehensive knowledge of radiology and medical imaging with a focus on mammography.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, organized patient records.
Exceptional patient care and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
State licensure and compliance with applicable regulations.
Previous experience in mammography or women’s imaging services is highly beneficial.
