Description
We are seeking an experiencedSCADA Engineerwith a strong background inwarehouseandbuilding automation monitoring system design. The successful candidate willbe responsible forthe design, development, integration, and support of SCADA systems used for monitoring and controlling facility operations, including HVAC, lighting, energy, fire safety, and warehouse automation systems such as conveyors, robotics, and material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement SCADA systemsfor warehouse automation and building management systems (BMS).
Develop and configure HMI/SCADA screens and interfaces for real-time monitoring,alarming, and data visualization.
Integrate SCADA systems with PLCs, sensors, actuators, and other field devices using industry-standard protocols (e.g., Modbus, BACnet, OPC, MQTT, Ethernet/IP).
Collaborate with controls, electrical, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of SCADA with automation hardware and enterprise systems.
Develop andmaintainsystem documentation, including architecture diagrams, I/O lists, tag databases, and control narratives.
Provide support for commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of SCADA systems during deployment and post-installation phases.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices in system design and operation.
Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to improve reliability, efficiency, and user experience.
Assistin data analytics, trend analysis, and reporting for building systems and warehouse operations.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies in SCADA and automation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related field.
3–7 years of experience in SCADA system design, development, and maintenance.
Proven experience with warehouse automation technologies (e.g., WCS/WMS integration, conveyor systems, robotics).
Familiarity with building automation systems (HVAC, lighting, energy management, fire alarms, access control).
Hands-on experience with SCADA platforms such asIgnition, Wonderware, GE iFIX, Siemens WinCC, or SchneiderEcoStruxure.
Proficient in communication protocols likeBACnet, Modbus, OPC UA/DA, MQTT.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs, firewalls).
Experience with HMI/GUI development tools and scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or proprietary languages).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and control schematics.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in high-throughput warehouses, fulfillment centers, or automatedlogisticsenvironments.
Data Center SCADA Experience a plus
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISA, NFPA, IEC, ASHRAE).
Experience with cloud-based SCADA/IoT platforms and edge computing.
Familiarity with database systems (SQL, historian systems) and data analytics tools.
Professional certifications in SCADA, automation, or cybersecurity are a plus
