This opportunity is looking for a Sr. Network Engineer with experience building out automation throughout an enterprise from the ground up. The focus will be modernizing and automating our global network infrastructure, including SD-WAN, Zero Trust, and cloud networking.

Description We are seeking a Sr. Network Automation Engineer to help modernize and automate our global network infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in traditional networking, combined with deep expertise in scripting, APIs, and infrastructure as code. You will work closely with network architects, security engineers, and cloud teams to streamline operations and accelerate our transformation into a software‑defined, cloud‑first environment.

Key Functions / Duties

Design, develop, and maintain network automation frameworks using tools such as Ansible, Python, Terraform, and REST APIs.

Automate provisioning, configuration, and policy enforcement across on‑prem, SD‑WAN, and cloud networks.

Collaborate with network and security architects to implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.

Integrate automation workflows with platforms such as Cisco ISE, DNA Center, Palo Alto Prisma SD‑WAN, and Zscaler.

Build CI/CD pipelines for network changes and configuration validation.

Develop and maintain source‑controlled templates and playbooks for repeatable deployments.

Support network observability and telemetry by automating data collection and reporting.

Participate in the design and implementation of secure, scalable network architectures.

Provide mentorship and training to traditional network engineers on automation tools and practices.

Document automation processes, standards, and best practices.

On‑call rotation (PIC) is required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications Education Requirement Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university or a combination of equivalent education and work experience.

Certifications Preferred Cisco DevNet, CCNP/CCIE, PCNSE, CISSP, AWS/Azure Networking.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years in global enterprise network environments.

3+ years of experience in network automation and scripting.

Proficiency in Python, Ansible, Terraform, and RESTful APIs.

Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with NetDevOps, event‑driven automation, or network testing frameworks.

Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Experience with Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Netscaler, Zscaler, or similar platforms.

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $67.50 – $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
