The Role INNERGY is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you’ll take a leading part in designing, building, and maintaining core software solutions that power manufacturing operations across the woodworking industry. You’ll work across both desktop and web‑based applications, leveraging C#, VB.NET, and the .NET Framework on the backend, and TypeScript and React for front‑end development. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and cross‑functional partners, bringing strong technical judgment, ownership, and mentorship to the team. This role is ideal for a senior individual contributor who enjoys solving complex problems, influencing technical direction, and building software that delivers real‑world value.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high‑quality software applications
Build and enhance front‑end experiences using React and TypeScript
Contribute to backend development using C#, VB.NET, and .NET Framework
Partner closely with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Lead by example through clean, maintainable code and thoughtful code reviews
Develop automated tests and support performance tuning and optimization
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, technical planning, and architecture discussions
Mentor junior developers and contribute to team‑wide engineering best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of professional software development experience
Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework, and modern software design practices
Hands‑on experience building front‑end applications using React and TypeScript
Experience working with relational databases such as MS SQL Server and/or MySQL
Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Preferred: Experience with AutoCAD and its APIs; familiarity with SVN, MS Office, and Agile tooling; experience in manufacturing, ERP, or the woodworking industry
