Head of Identity and Access Management (IAM) We are seeking a strategic executive leader to shape and direct Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s global Identity & Access Management vision. The role is hybrid, with an expectation of working from an HPE office two days per week.

Job Description As Head of IAM, you will oversee Workforce IAM, Customer/Partner IAM, Privileged Access Management, and Identity Governance. You will champion a threat-based approach, integrate with Zero Trust, and lead the development of Agentic AI identity strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive IAM strategy aligned with business goals.

Define and track maturity goals and KPIs, supporting financial planning and resource allocation.

Lead Workforce IAM to provide secure, efficient identity lifecycle management for employees, contractors, and affiliates.

Architect scalable Customer/Partner IAM solutions for secure external identities.

Govern Privileged Access Management, implementing just‑in‑time access and continuous monitoring.

Drive Secrets Management strategy for secure API keys, certificates, and machine identities.

Implement Identity Governance frameworks, ensuring proper access rights, compliance, and audit readiness.

Integrate IAM with HPE’s Zero Trust framework, focusing on user experience and security.

Design and champion the roadmap for Agentic AI identities, handling governance and lifecycle.

Maintain risk and compliance standards through continuous threat assessment and adaptive controls.

Build, mentor, and lead a global IAM team, fostering innovation and operational excellence.

Engage executive leadership and cross‑functional teams to embed IAM into enterprise architecture.

Evaluate and recommend emerging IAM technologies and frameworks.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.

15+ years in Information Security, with senior leadership in IAM for 5+ years.

Proven global IAM strategy execution in large, complex organizations.

Expertise in Workforce IAM, Customer/Partner IAM, Privileged Access Management, Secrets Management, and Identity Governance.

Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles.

Experience designing AI‑driven identity solutions.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CIAM).
