We are looking for a detail-oriented and business-focused Data Scientist to support our growing Business Intelligence function. This role blends advanced analytics with strong business acumen. The ideal candidate will enable the organization to make data-driven decisions through clear and actionable insights. The ideal candidate excels in transforming complex datasets into intuitive dashboards, reports, and predictive insights. This role requires the candidate to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand performance,identifyopportunities, and drive strategic outcomes.
Your Impact
Partner with business leaders to understand KPIs, performance drivers, and reporting needs.
Develop andmaintaindashboards, scorecards, and automated reporting tools to support daily decision-making.
Conduct deep-dive analyses toidentifytrends, operational gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Build predictive and descriptive models that enhance business forecasting and performance measurement.
Translate data findings into concise, business-friendly insights, and recommendations.
Your Experience and qualifications
Bachelor’s or M.S. in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field; proven experience in BI, analytics, or data science supporting business operations.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems; partner with IT and Cloud teams to enhance pipelines and improve BI data availability.
Proficiency in BI tools (Tableau, Domo), strong SQL for data extraction/cleaning, Python or R for statistical analysis/machine learning, and experience in Databricks Lakehouse (Delta tables, Spark SQL, notebooks, workflows).
Ability to integrate and model data from ERP, CRM, and operational systems using SQL, APIs, flat files; familiarity with ETL/ELT patterns in modern Lakehouse stacks; experience developing semantic layers, curated datasets, and scalable reporting frameworks.
Knowledge of forecasting, segmentation, statistical techniques; background in financial, operational, or customer analytics; strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to explain complex concepts clearly to business stakeholders.
