Drupal Developer with Security Clearance
Connsci is seeking a Drupal Developer to provide day-to-day operational and development support for a public facing website in a Windows Server/IIS/Azure GovCloud hosted environment for one of our federal customers. This role performs routine updates, fixes, template adjustments, accessibility improvements, and site stability tasks.
Responsibilities
Implement module updates, configuration changes, and bug fixes for Drupal 9/10
Adjust Drupal templates, themes, content types, and views
Support UI improvements and ensure basic accessibility compliance
Perform routine O&M tasks including monitoring, log reviews, and QA checks
Assist in the rollout of Drupal security patches
Support performance tuning and environment compatibility
Collaborate with Senior Drupal Developer on higher-complexity work
Maintain Git/GitHub workflows and follow release processes
Validate backups, support rollback checks, and ensure stability
Basic Qualifications
At least 2 years of Drupal or web application development experience
At least 1 year of experience with Drupal 8/9/10 configuration and development
At least 1 year of experience with PHP, Twig, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript foundation
At least 1 year of experience with using Git for version control
Familiarity with Windows Server/IIS hosted environments
Understanding of accessibility basics and UI responsiveness
Preferred Qualifications
Active Public Trust – High Risk, Tier 4 or Top Secret level clearance
Acquia Certified Drupal Developer or Site Builder
Experience with Azure hosting
Experience supporting government websites or O&M environments
Location This role allows for remote work but there is a chance for occasional time in office for critical/collaborative initiatives. The office location is in Washington, DC and is Metro and rail (Union Station) accessible.
