Overview
GST is seeking a Program Analyst to support the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The role focuses on data analysis, dashboard development, online learning systems, communications, and project management. GST approved a hybrid schedule with onsite days in an office in Silver Spring, MD.
Primary Duties
Engage in HR projects such as workforce development and training. Liaise with colleagues and NOAA offices to gather requirements and plan projects and timelines. Analyze data related to workforce training engagement, gaps, and new requirements for expanding or refining the training catalog. Create status reports, manage dashboards, and span communications, data analysis, and information visualization.
Required Education/Experience/Skills
Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree (BS/BA) in Business Administration, Communications, Public Administration, Human Resources, or Data Science. Good communication and data analysis skills are key to success. Attention to detail, good time management, and competency with Microsoft product suite, especially Excel, are required. Smartsheet experience is a plus. Understanding of government communications and planning processes is a significant plus. Experience developing and managing project and action trackers and visualization tools.
Compensation
Projected salary range is $70,000 to $90,000 annualized USD. Benefits include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement plans, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care for full‑time employees working 30+ hours per week.
