Job Description Manages mid‑level clients and supplier relationships to ensure customer satisfaction. Develops sourcing and category management for assigned critical portfolios. Provides strategic sourcing, supplier selection, performance goals, and category vision. Leads supplier relationship management, including business reviews and escalation of performance and risk issues. Segments suppliers, researches and supports base development, leads supplier discussions on objectives and trends, resolves major supplier issues, and identifies business needs across Supply Chain categories.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Manage mid-level client and supplier relationships.
Develop sourcing & category management for assigned portfolios.
Establish and deliver performance goals.
Lead strategic sourcing projects and supplier selection/optimization.
Conduct supplier business reviews and act as escalation point for performance and risk issues.
Segment suppliers at category level and support base development.
Lead supplier discussions on long‑term objectives, market trends, innovation and technology advances.
Resolve major supplier issues in partnership with stakeholders.
Identify business needs in Assurance of Supply, Quality, Service, Cost, and Innovation (AQSCI).
Develop multi‑year category vision and strategy.
Build strong business relationships to influence total category spend.
Evaluate value‑generating projects, manage portfolio of projects.
Lead supplier selection and RFx award process.
Execute complex contracts according to policies.
Apply advanced negotiation techniques.
Maintain understanding of category dynamics, communicate changes.
Develop total cost of ownership (TCO), measure and report value.
Enable continuous process improvement and cost reduction.
Ensure strategic sourcing process is robustly applied.
Collaborate with global procurement peers.
Manage and develop an internal India‑based procurement shared services team.
Expected Experience & Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, finance, business or related field (or equivalent experience and credentials such as CPM or CPIM).
5+ years of indirect procurement or design, construction, or food equipment industry experience.
Experience developing long‑term business strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Advanced sourcing lifecycle experience.
Strong written, verbal, analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to organize, communicate complex information clearly.
Collaborative team player with cross‑level interaction.
Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, proactive, independent, responsive.
Strong analytical, planning, and execution skills.
Strategic mindset, negotiation and influence ability.
Multitasks and juggle projects of varying complexity.
Intermediate‑to‑advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and source‑to‑pay tools (SAP, Ariba).
Work Environment & Schedule Normal office environment with moderate travel to customer locations, stores, and manufacturing facilities. Office is open workspaces. Employees may work virtually up to two days per week, with in‑person expectations on core days at assigned location at least three days per week.
Compensation Base Salary: $102,100 – $127,600. Eligible for performance‑based bonus.
