The Creative Services Director is accountable for defining and leading the creative strategy and development process in support of MDeX. Responsibilities include overseeing and managing a team of internal and external contributors across design, copy, content, and production disciplines, as well as collaborating with external creative agencies, media, and production partners to achieve a consistent system‑wide image and expression for Providence and its family of brands. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the health care industry and a proven track record of creating and managing effective, memorable creative campaigns.

Essential Functions

Strategic Campaign Leadership: Drive and/or support the ideation, design, and production of marketing and advertising, including both awareness‑driving and service line regional/divisional efforts.

Creative Stewardship: Act as a Center of Excellence, ensuring marketing and advertising creative aligns with Providence’s mission, positioning, and values, and is consistent across a unified platform.

Integrated Creative Planning Direction: Steer creative campaigns across all platforms—digital, social media, blogs, web, OOH, print, radio, and beyond—to ensure a cohesive and powerful brand presence everywhere.

Brand Compliance: Use approved Brand Guidelines to support adherence and compliance across creative efforts, oversighting brand expression at every touchpoint.

Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the central creative hub, fostering strong relationships with leadership, external collaborators, and key partners to ensure unified brand communication.

External Agency/Freelance Collaboration: Establish strong partnerships with external agencies, overseeing the strategic direction of their work to ensure consistency, efficiency, and efficacy.

Multidisciplinary Team Leadership: Direct and nurture a diverse group of internal and external talents spanning design, copywriting, content creation, and production.

Strategic Collaboration with Marketing & other internal Business Partners: Translate creative briefs into groundbreaking campaigns and oversee the entire creative lifecycle from inception to fruition.

Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of current marketing trends and competitor activities within the health care industry to foster innovative approaches.

Project Portfolio Coordination & Organization: Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring asset organization and storage.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

10 or more years of progressive business experience in marketing

Preferred Qualifications

Experience marketing clinical services lines and/or health insurance products

Direct experience in consumer packaged goods

Prior experience in the Health Care industry

Eligibility to work in Washington State (excluding Tukwila)

Job Details Location: 1801 Lind Ave SW, Renton, Washington (Remote – Providence Valley Office Park‑Renton)

Pay Range: $63.50 – $100.26 per hour (additional compensation may be available)
