Summer Analyst, Investment Banking – Software Sector (Boston Technology)
Program Overview
The 10‑week Summer Analyst Program begins in June and starts with 1½ weeks of in‑depth training. Participants join the Boston Technology Investment Banking Team and help support the Software sector coverage in North America. The role includes financial analysis, deal support, client presentations, and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
Collect and analyze company information to support transactions, including industry research and financial data organization.
Develop financial models: company valuations, discounted cash flow, financing and comparative analyses.
Create and finalize business development presentations.
Coordinate tasks with internal and external teams.
Prepare required internal documentation and comply with control and compliance regulations.
Qualifications
Graduating between December 2027 and June 2028 with a preferred GPA of 3.5 or above.
Strong analytical skills with a passion for finance and client service.
Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
Commitment to personal growth, integrity, and ethical decision‑making.
Knowledge of the global or domestic financial landscape is a plus.
Compensation & Location Annual Salary: $110,000 (Base) – potential incentive and retention awards. Salary range: $100,000 to $135,000. Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States.
Program Details Full‑time summer program starting June 2027. Eligibility for Citi’s mentorship program during and after the program. Top performing analysts often return to Citi as full‑time analysts.
