Senior SAP S/4 HANA Consultant
Numeric Technologies & Systems Integrator Inc is looking for a Senior SAP S/4 HANA Consultant to provide services for our client.
Job Responsibilities
Lead the team in ECC to S4 HANA conversion projects by evaluating business processes and conducting fit‑gap analysis of transactional documents “as‑is” in supply chain/logistics.
Determine which processes can be migrated or redesigned to leverage new S/4HANA functionalities.
Address mandatory changes required by S/4HANA, such as the transition to the business partner (BP) data model for all customer and vendor master data, material ledger, purchasing and sales pricing, and migrating condition master data from KONV.
Analyze all custom ABAP code (WRICEF objects) related to supply chain/logistics execution, inventory, and accounting data model changes.
Perform checks to identify and correct supply chain MM/SD customizing and data inconsistencies; analyze supply chain interfaces with external systems (e.g., EDI 850, 855, 856, 940 & 945), third‑party WMS, transportation management systems, and plan modifications to ensure seamless communication with the new S/4HANA landscape.
Configure the new business rules (BRF+) framework for supply chain/logistics documents for inbound/outbound delivery notes, packing slips, advance shipping notification, customer and vendor invoices; cleanse obsolete master and transactional data to reduce migration effort, archive unnecessary material documents, and reconcile data between source ECC and target S/4HANA systems.
Conduct end‑to‑end supply chain process testing to validate reliability by creating POs, sales orders, inbound/outbound deliveries, goods movements and addressing defects.
Conduct system integration by deploying automation testing tools compatible with cloud ALM to confirm seamless data flow between integrated modules and external systems.
Activate reports and Fiori apps for supply chain (MM/SD/LE/WM) processes to leverage the new user experience.
Evaluate custom reports in legacy system; if required develop bespoke reports to meet business needs following data model changes.
Develop bespoke pricing reports leveraging new pricing data model changes.
Develop OEM/Hub custom shipment reports based on EDI 945 data to bill customers.
Develop an automated EDI Customs broker management solution for Apple, scalable and flexible to meet trade requirements at customs/border.
Train and engage end‑users to validate that business processes are met in the new S/4HANA system.
Monitor system performance in production and fine‑tune queries/configurations as needed.
Provide role‑based training and hyper‑care support post go‑live to ensure smooth transition and high user adoption.
Train and guide end‑users in using the Joule artificial intelligence tool.
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience with SAP ECC to S/4 HANA conversion projects, including fit‑gap analysis, custom ABAP code review, and BRF+ configuration.
Strong knowledge of supply chain/logistics modules (MM, SD, LE, WM) and integration with external systems (EDI, WMS, TMS).
Proficiency in developing and activating reports, Fiori apps, and automated testing tools.
Excellent communication and training skills with ability to conduct end‑user training and hyper‑care support.
