Base pay range $100,000.00/yr – $130,000.00/yr

What You’ll Do:

Perform failure analysis on batteries and electronic components, leading root cause investigations and driving quality improvements.

Develop and execute analytical plans, interpret results, and provide actionable insights to clients.

Manage workflow, mentor team members, and ensure technical excellence.

Collaborate with customers, resolve technical issues, and represent EAG at industry events.

Ideal Candidate & Qualifications

Background in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Expertise in fault isolation and failure analysis tools and methods.

Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

BS in Electrical Engineering.

5+ hands‑on Semiconductor and Electronics Failure Analysis experience.

2+ years of direct experience performing battery failure analysis, performance testing and/or R&D role.

Experience managing, leading, and/or mentoring/training is highly desired.

Knowledge of device physics, IC design, semiconductor fabrication and package manufacturing.

Industry standards: ISO, MIL‑STD, AEC, JEDEC, IPC, etc.

Battery failure modes, causes, classification, and mechanisms: electrical, thermal, mechanical.

Battery technologies: Li‑ion, cell, coin, pouch, pack.

Familiarity with battery manufacturing processes.

Emergency response and safety awareness for battery handling.

Proficient collaborator and communicator, both verbal and written.

Hands‑on laboratory experience with diagnostic tools and analysis techniques.

Physical Requirements

Remain stationary up to 80% of the time.

Operate personal computer or lab equipment for extended periods (4+ hours).

Operate keyboard and lab equipment, including overhead storage access.

Communicate clearly for normal conversational distance, telephone, and group settings.

Handle small devices with tweezers and/or fingers.

Maintain close‑distance visual acuity with or without correction.

Wear PPE such as hard hat, steel‑toed shoes, safety glasses, laboratory coat.

Lift equipment or items up to 50 lbs.
