Your Impact
Function as the Lead Structural Engineer or Project Manager on transportation projects that include bridges, retaining walls, and culverts.
Perform advanced structural analysis on complex bridge projects with flared and curved framing.
Provide mentoring and guidance to other design team members, junior engineers, and technicians.
Experience with bridge inspection, assessment, and bridge condition reports.
Prepare calculations, drawings, technical reports, and cost estimates for procurement and construction.
Provide technical oversight and quality checking of deliverables.
Coordinate with other disciplines on multi‑discipline transportation projects.
Provide input and technical guidance to CAD technicians.
Monitor productivity and technical proficiency of assigned technical personnel.
Monitor the quality and progress of the structural work product, ensuring that production requirements are satisfied.
Prepare structural scopes of work.
Prepare work plans and schedules.
Support business development efforts as required.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering are required.
10+ years of bridge design and analysis experience.
PE and SE or ability to obtain these two licenses within one year is required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience in steel, reinforced concrete, and prestressed concrete design.
Proficiency in bridge engineering software, including LARSA 4D and/or CSI Bridge, and Bentley CAD tools is preferred.
Working knowledge of 3D Parametric design software is a plus.
Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills.
Working knowledge of various state Bridge Design Manuals.
