What You Will Do:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment like conveyors, mixers, ovens, and packaging machines to keep production running smooth and prevent breakdowns.
Follow food safety rules when working around production areas, using the right cleaning procedures and food‑grade materials to keep everything up to code.
Handle emergency repairs when equipment breaks down during production, getting things back up and running as fast as possible to minimize downtime.
Manage spare parts and tools inventory to make sure you've got what you need when equipment needs fixing or upgrading.
Always work safely, following OSHA regulations and keeping your area clean and in line with company rules.
What You Will Bring:
High school diploma or GED; two-year degree in specialized maintenance trade preferred.
Minimum of 0 to 2 years of related experience.
Ability to read and interpret safety documents, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to complete work orders and enter the required paperwork into a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Two-year degree in specialized maintenance trade preferred.
Years of Related Experience: 0‑2 years of related experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of PLC software and ability to perform minor PLC program adjustments. Basic electrical skills required such as ability to use a voltage/ohm meter, amp meter, using electrical schematic and understanding single phase and three phase wiring. Arc Flash trained; Basic building skills required such as ability to join PVC pipe, use an electric drain snake, mix concrete, grout tile, troubleshoot dock leveler and ability to add/change oil on an air compressor; Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; Ability to complete work orders, carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form, and complete required paperwork; Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume; Mechanical knowledge and ability to expand knowledge and skills via on‑the‑job and formal training directed at increasing job‑related skills as mandated by management, including all required OSHA training; Ability to learn basic computer skills, including SAP Maintenance Module; Ability to obtain a valid forklift license; Demonstrated interpersonal skills sufficient to communicate in a professional manner with co‑workers and supervisors; Ability to comply with all general safety policies and procedures in accordance with Company, Local, State and Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations. Must be able to lift ninety (90) lbs.
