Responsibilities

Monitor facilities and designated areas to detect and deter irregular or unusual activity.

Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.

Secure premises by patrolling property and maintaining visibility to deter unauthorized activity.

Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times.

Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and disturbances, maintaining composure in high‑stress situations.

Observe, report, and prevent incidents by maintaining a consistent security presence.

Enforce site rules, policies, and procedures to ensure the safety of all personnel and property.

Provide excellent customer service and represent TriCorps’ values of professionalism and integrity.

Support management and client directives to maintain consistent, high‑quality service.

Licensing & Certifications

Valid DC Security Officer (SO) license (required)

Driver’s License (required)

Current CPR Certification (required)

Schedule & Work Environment

Positions available in Washington, D.C.

Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent

Certification Requirements Security Officer (SO) District of Columbia Municipal Regulations (17‑Chapter 21)

Valid State ID
