Emergency Management Planner
Boston University is seeking an Emergency Management Planner to support the institution’s resilience and safety by coordinating efforts to prepare, respond to, and recover from emergencies. Reporting to the Executive Director of Emergency Management, the Planner will maintain and update emergency plans, assist with hazard and risk assessments, support drills and exercises, and collaborate across campus units and external partners.

Support emergency drills, exercises, and gather data and feedback.
Collaborate with campus units and external partners to enhance preparedness.
Assist in emergency communication and notification activities to ensure readiness during incidents.
Serve as Clery Committee Coordinator: manage logistics, gather crime and disciplinary data, support Campus Security Authority training, and assist with Clery Act reporting and documentation.
Required Skills • Bachelor’s degree required. • 1–3 years of related work experience.
Salary Range: $62,525.00 – $81,175.00 (Grade 47)
