Our client in the entertainment industry seeks a
Sr. Accountant
to contribute to core financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across our accounting functions. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Vendor Management, and Monthly Account Reconciliations. Experience in a fast‑paced startup environment is highly preferred.
Based in Minneapolis, this is a remote position with occasional in‑person meetings.

Core Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable:
Manage billing and cash receipts, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
Accounts Payable:
Process vendor invoices, track payments, and maintain accurate records.
Vendor Management:
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring efficient payment cycles and compliance with financial policies.
Monthly Account Reconciliations:
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts, ensuring accuracy and identifying discrepancies.
Assist in financial reporting and support audits as needed.
What You Bring To The Role
Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline accounting processes.
3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a startup environment.
Accounting degree required (Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance preferred).
Experience working with accounting software and financial reporting tools.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
