DevOps Engineer – Wireless Device Engineering

Greenwood Village CO (4 days on-site, 1 day remote)

Contract-to-hire on W2 with benefits
Pay : $60-$66 / hr
The Wireless Device Engineering team supports the backend systems that power our client's WiFi and Cellular connectivity. We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong backend engineering experience to build microservices, automate deployments, and enhance CI / CD ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Build and improve backend services and microservices (Python preferred; Java OK).
Deploy and manage cloud applications using AWS (EC2, EKS / Kubernetes, Lambda).
Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines (GitLab preferred; Jenkins transferable).
Automate testing and deployment processes to ensure reliable releases.
Work with Docker containers, Kubernetes clusters, and REST APIs.
Support production systems, monitoring, and alerts.
Contribute to light frontend work (React / Angular / JavaScript).
Qualifications
3–7 years DevOps / Full-Stack experience.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
Comfortable building CI / CD pipelines and automation.
Experience with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, DocumentDB).
Strong communication, documentation, and Agile teamwork skills.
Self-starter with a passion for automation and clean, scalable solutions.
Preferred Attributes
Curiosity about emerging technologies (e.g., AI agents).
Collaborative, resilient, and adaptable personality.
Comfortable in a hybrid work environment (expected 4 days onsite, 1 remote).
Interview Process 1. 30-min interview with Manager.
2. 1-hour onsite panel with the team.
