This is a full‑time position within our manufacturing facility with opportunities for advancement.
Shift:
3rd (8 PM – 5 AM) overnight
Starting Pay:
$27 per hour.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in health and safety with 2‑4 years of related experience.
Knowledge of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) as it applies to specific plant operations (OSHA certification preferred).
Environmental Health knowledge.
Broad and comprehensive knowledge of state and federal safety guidelines for the workplace.
Understanding of legal repercussions of workplace accidents.
Professional knowledge of appropriate emergency protocols.
Familiarity with job site machinery and products.
Understanding of State and federal OSHA standards and regulations.
Excellent current job performance and safety record.
Safety experience in a production environment preferred.
Ability to work in cold and/or hot temperatures for long periods of time.
Strong communication and reasoning skills.
Ability to read, interpret and create safety documents and reports.
Bilingual language skills in English and Chinese.
Strong work ethics.
Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Must complete a post‑offer, pre‑placement background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities Workplace Safety
Ensure the implementation and enforcement of the Company’s safety and health policies, programs, and procedures.
Develop methods for assessing safety conditions in the warehouse, Production Areas, and offices.
Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and observations, ensuring compliance and maintaining corrective action records.
Train employees in safety procedures and run emergency drills.
Reporting/Investigation of Safety Issues
Prepare detailed reports documenting each inspection process.
Develop Job Hazard Analyses.
Suggest revisions to production procedures or employee activities to meet OSHA standards.
Maintain required safety and health documents and training records.
Conduct post‑accident investigations to determine causes and devise prevention plans.
Monitor “near‑miss” reporting and investigations.
Address workplace issues and accidents proactively.
Conduct safety observations, inspections, and audits.
Other
Act as backup for other safety coordinators as needed.
Require occasional weekend work.
Other duties and projects as assigned by direct manager.
