Our client is a growing professional services firm based in Chicago, IL, seeking a
Trust & Estate Manager, Senior Manager, or Director
to support and expand its fiduciary tax practice. This is a highly visible and impactful role for an experienced trusts and estates professional who enjoys working directly with high-net-worth clients and their advisors in a collaborative, advisory-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Manage and review complex trust and estate income tax returns and related filings
Advise clients on fiduciary income tax, estate, and gift tax matters
Coordinate closely with attorneys, wealth advisors, and internal teams to support client needs
Research and resolve complex technical issues and document tax positions
Review work prepared by staff and provide technical guidance and mentoring
Support the continued development and long-term direction of the trust and estate practice
Qualifications
Significant experience in trust and estate taxation
Strong technical expertise and prior review experience
Experience working directly with high-net-worth clients and their advisors
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Ability to operate as a trusted advisor within a team-oriented environment
